The Age of our Fleeting Earth

For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Isaiah 65:17 Darby

But, according to his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness. 2 Peter 3:13 Darby

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And there was no more sea. Revelation 21:1 EMTV

KEY WORD is NEW. Our earth WILL BE BURNED OUT, NOT BE RENEWED >

And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be collected to one place, and let the dry land appear. And it was so. Genesis 1:9 LITV

The earth had been hidden under the ageless waters for ages before Jesus decided to customize her to sustain mankind life. Waters, earth and her core could have been around for million, billion, trillion, zillion, jillion, or gazillion years because the beginning is 'indefinite' in the Book of Genesis.

"In beginning He created Elohim the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1.

At the renewal the sin stained earth will be burned out. Not even fire can cleanse her to make her holy again to God the Father and Jehovah.

"and by the same word, the present heavens and earth, having been stored up for fire, are being preserved until [the] day of judgment and destruction of impious men." 2 Peter 3:7 LSV
